For centuries Shamanic Circles have been a place of gathering to receive communal and personal healing. They continue on today and offer us a way to turn away from the conditioned mind, beliefs, thoughts, and opinions and rest into the wisdom of our hearts, of who and what we are.
Shamanism is a practice of direct revelation. There is no dogma, doctrine, or something to believe in. The practice is all about what you experience and feel, what calls to you, the insights and messages, inner illuminations and guidance you receive as you listen deeply to your heart. |
The world today desperately needs more spaces in which we are encouraged to simply listen and connect with the nature inside and all around us. It's what brings all the chaos into balance. The invitation here is to come as you are and find out what great treasures are revealed when we tune in together to the heartbeat of humanity.
What happens in this gathering?
We come together as a community for our personal and collective healing and well-being. The experience unfolds like a guided meditation, accompanied by drumming, singing, silence, and music. The spoken words, elicited images, and shared sounds are designed to shift our everyday attention from the mind to the heart. These ancient devices open us to the unseen realms within our being -- our imagination, intuition, soul knowing, and connection to all that is.
In the first phase of the gathering, sacred space is set up by acknowledging our communal intention as well as our helping spirits and guides. Everyone has helping spirits and guides. They may show up in different forms throughout our lives, like a grandparent with whom we have a special bond, a comforting animal that often appears in our dreams, or an element of nature that soothes us. We learn about our helping spirits and build our relationship with them in shamanic journeying.
As we journey together in the second phase of the gathering, our helping spirits and guides direct our experience towards what we need in the present, both individually and collectively. Guided journeying entails the facilitator describing various places, scenes, and images, while allowing ample space for each participant to tune into their personal experience. This immersive and evolving process goes beyond mere visualization and fosters creativity, resulting in a profound and meaningful experience.
Some people like to lie down comfortably for a journey or the whole Shamanic Circle. Others start sitting and then like to lie down, move about, or dance during the journey. The shared space is a chance to explore what works for you.
No previous experience is necessary. Perfect for beginners. Any questions or trouble registering? Please contact me.
