Just Rest: An iRest® Yoga Nidra Workshop

Whether you have kids or not, the “Back to School” season affects us all. It’s in the air, in the increased traffic on the road, in the new schedules and routines, and in the feeling that summer has come to an end.
For most of us, it takes a concentrated effort to move through that August to September transition. But once it’s over, what can we do to unwind, release the accumulated stress, and reset the “effort button”? The answer is Just Rest!
In this meditation workshop, we support our whole being in slowing down, recalibrating back to effortlessness, and drawing in deep and healing rest. Not only are we bringing to balance the hectic-ness of a new school year, but we are also rewiring our bodies and brains to the ease that will carry us through the next season (yes, you know it’s coming…. the holidays!).
Every body is welcome; no previous experience necessary.
Date & Time: Saturday, September 23, 2017. 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
Props/Clothing: All props are provided, including yoga mats, blankets, and eye covers. Some people like to bring their own props. No special clothing necessary. It is recommended you wear clothes that are comfortable for sitting and lying down.
