Sessions with Shira offer a non-invasive, safe, and holistic solution for remembering your essential wholeness and tending to physical pain and tension, challenging emotions, and taxing thoughts. Appointments include activating awareness, meditative dialogue, acupressure, breath focus, attention to parts of the self as well as family dynamics, and connecting with the elements of nature in order to illuminate and follow whatever is happening in your body and unfolding in your life towards better health, finer alignment with your core values and goals, and a greater sense of well-being.
Hi, I'm Shira. I provide guidance, company, and support for healing in wholeness.
I am certified in Clinical and Process Acupressure with Soul Lightening International®. This is a hands-on modality that incorporates but is not limited to Chinese Medicine 5-Element Theory (no needles are used, ever). I am also certified in iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation with Integrative Restoration Institute. I've been in practice and sharing these two modalities since 2012.
In addition to these, my practice is informed by other trainings, personal experiences, and ongoing independent as well as formal study of Internal Family Systems Therapy, The Polyvagal Theory in Therapy, Shamanic Healing, Ancestral Healing, Inner Child Healing, Trauma Integration, and Family Systems Constellation. |

What type of conditions or symptoms can be addressed in these sessions?
The parts of ourselves that are in need of attention, feel hurt or unseen, or are somehow entangled with someone else's energy or story will often show up as sensations, symptoms, chronic conditions, illnesses, or some other signal in the body or situation in life. Many health and wellness concerns are addressed with the tools I offer and some common ones are:
- Stress and tension
- Physical pain (infrequent as well as chronic)
- Digestive concerns
- Insomnia/sleep disturbances
- Low energy, lethargy, and fatigue
- Nervous system imbalance
- Respiratory health
- Mental and emotional strain
- Depression, anxiety, and grief
- Difficult memories
- Exposure to deeply distressing event(s), and
